As a design professional, I dedicate as much time as I possibly can to creating and practicing good design. There is a big difference between creating designs and creating good design. Good design is not just what looks good, good design seeks to identify, solve, and fulfill its purpose as a whole. Good design is fulfilling an initiative, solving a problem, and creating solutions never thought of before but seemingly genius in the sense of design solutions. My idea of good design is creating something that is practical yet solves every issue, including those unseen. If your design has gone above and beyond your clients expectations, then you have practiced good design.
