Hi, my name is Tyler Currie and I am orginally from Wilson, a small, semi-urbanized town centrally located in North Carolina. As a young boy, I spent my days with my family and friends like any other kid, while drawing and designing floor plans in my spare time. I received my Interior Design degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC as well as a minor in Interior Merchandising. The Interior Design program at ECU is accredited by CIDA, NASAD, and NKBA and gives us all a true look into what the design world is really about. With classes ranging from commercial design to residential design, even problems in interiors, I have touched on and worked in many types of design categories. I find that I have a vast array of knowledge on many different subjects regarding design and I feel I have so much to offer the design world. I completed a 200 hour internship at Alfred Williams & Company in Raleigh, NC for summer, 2015. Through my work at the company and my numerous professional encounters, I can confidently say that I have gotten a true look into how the real world of Interior Design works and I continue to look forward to the future of working in the industry with true design professionals and expanding my knowledge in the field. After graduation, I began my career in the commercial furniture industry. I worked for a company that  serviced large multi-million dollar customers in the RTP area as well as numerous additional clients in the surrounding areas. I am looking forward to broadening my career in the industry and growing my realtionships with my custiomers.
